Kingston Announces Wi-Drive for iOS Devices

Kingston has announced a small portable storage device exclusively for iOS devices which can store music, videos and files. Due to the drive’s ability to access media wirelessly, it has been named Wi-Drive. Users will have to download app from Apple store in order to access media.
Because of the relatively smaller storage capacity of iPad, the flash-based drive will provide expanded memory to such devices by storing data which can be accessed through Wi-Fi connection. It allows 3 users to be connected simultaneously without affecting performance. The Wi-Drive is compatible with iPad, iPhone 3G (limited to iOS 4.1.1+) in iPhone 3GS/4 and iPod touch (3G and 4G).
