LG Optimus 2x is not only LG’s first high-end Android phone, but it also has to its credit the fact that it is world’s first dual-core processor smartphone. It is powered by NVidia Tegra-2 1GHz CPU and runs Android 2.2 at unbelievingly high speed.

The LG smartphone has a weight of around 4.9 ounce,  a removable 1500mAh battery . It features a 4-inch 480 x 800 WVGA IPS touchscreen, 8 GB of storage expandable to 32 GB through micro-SD card and an 8mega-pixel camera with integrated LED flash, which can easily blind you even in daylight. One little detail that is worth mentioning is the time that the camera takes in getting ready for the second pic after the first one has been taken. But this is something that can easily be ignored in favor of the bright colors that the images display.

The phone also has a front 1.3mega-pixel camera that allows 1080p video recording. An HDMI port is also available which can let you mirror your tv on your mobile screen.

The phone also supports Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. Its virtual keyboard looks a bit like iPhone’s keyboard. The web browsing experience is also very enriching since pages are well displayed and zooming in and out also works fast enough.

The phone’s audio quality is very good because of the placement of its speakers on one side rather than at the back of the phone.

On the whole LG Optimus 2x is beautifully designed, fast with crisp colorful display and a user friendly interface. A good value for money for those of you out there who want some trendy high-tech device!
