Windows Phone 7.1 Mango operating system beta update has been made available to registered developers by Microsoft. Simultaneously a new software development kit (SDK) beta has also been released by Microsoft. The update is available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United States.
In order to get the beta update you must have a validated, active App Hub account and one individual can only update one phone. Developers have to first download the Beta 2 of the SDK before they get the update.
