As soon as the iOS 5 Beta 3 was released by Apple, it was learnt that it could be jailbroken with RedsnOw’s latest version. But later a problem cropped up that many apps downloaded from App store would crash as soon as they were launched.
So the App Dev Team quickly sat down to fix the problem and released another version of the Redsn0w, i.e. Redsn0w 0.9.8 beta 2, which is a tethered jailbreak for iOS beta 3, 2 and 1. It works for both Mac and Windows.
