Samsung has introduced a netbook, NC215 with a 10.1-inch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution having a matte surface. The system has dual-core Atom N570 CPU, 1GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive, the hardware specs are not that exciting but what should interest you is the solar panel on the rear lid of which should ideally increase battery life to about 30%- 40%.
The solar power option should be a good attraction for those who may not have access to wall outlets all throughout the day.
The netbook also has WiFi, Bluetooth, and a LAN port and runs Windows 7 starter and is priced reasonably at $399. It is available for pre-order on Amazon
