Apple releases Migration Assistant Update for OS X Leopard
Apple has released an update of the Migration Assistant tool for upgrading the Mac OS from OS X Leopard to OS X Lion. According to Apple,
“This update addresses an issue with the Migration Assistant application in Mac OS X Leopard that prevents transfer of your personal data, settings, and compatible applications from a Mac running Mac OS X Leopard to a new Mac running Mac OS X Lion.”
It needs to be noted that Rosetta application that runs on the old PowerPC processor will not run on Lion.
The update size is 4.98 MB and will require Mac OS X 10.5.8.
