Foursquare Updates iPhone App
With President Obama joining Foursquare, the location-based networking site must be further motivated to bring improved features to attract more users. Now in a recent bid it has updated its app for iPhone. The most noticeable change being that pics are now displayed inline while viewing your check-in activity stream. The same feature had already been added to the Foursquare website.
Similarly if you go to a venue page and find any of your friends, their photos will also be displayed inline. Certainly brings a livelier and fresher look to the overall app.
Other features include a cleaned-up header. Foursquare has also added bigger tap targets within the app. Now you simply need to click on an entire check-in to leave a comment. Much more convenient!
Hopefully the Tip Lists will also be coming to the mobile app soon.
