Google Operating System has apparently found out through Techno-Net a way to enjoy less cluttered look of Google’s search engine by a simple change of cookie settings. Google has already been working on bringing out a neater interface and now by simply following the following steps you can also get that look.

For Chrome:

  • Install the Chrome cookie manager “Edit this cookie”
  • Go to Google’s homepage and click the new yellow cookie icon in Chrome’s toolbar
  • Look for the section starting with NID and replace the value code with the following:

  • Click “Submit Cookie Changes” and you are done

For FireFox:

  • Install Cookies Manager+
  • Go to Google’s homepage
  • Press Alt-T and select “Cookies Manager+”
  • Search for Google.com (or your country-specific Google domain) and find the entry named “NID”.
  • Click “Edit” and replace content with:

For Opera:

  • Load Google Homepage
  • Right click the page
  • Select “Edit site preferences”
  • Go to the “Cookies” tab and edit the item beginning with “NID”.

In case you don’t like the new look and want to revert to the original one, simply remove the NID key or delete its value, and it will automatically be reverted.
