Sprint Stops Employees from Giving any Comments on iPhone 5
We had reported earlier that iPhone 5 would be coming to Sprint in addition to Verizon and AT&T. Now an internal Sprint memo has emerged on the internet via SprintFeed that directs its employees to offer no comments on any rumors regarding iPhone.
“A recent Wall Street Journal article mentioned that Sprint is getting the iPhone5,” the memo says. “If you’re asked by a customer or just talking to friends or family members, you need to avoid making any comment about the iPhone and simple [sic] state “no comment.”
The memo also advises employees how to respond to inquisitive customers asking direct questions, “Yes, I saw a few of those reports, I don’t have any information to share.”

The memo only confirms earlier reports that Apple is planning to launch iPhone 5 through all major carriers in the U.S. Currently iPhone 4 is available to AT&T and Verizon only. Sprint in fact lost a lot of sales due to inaccessibility to iPhone. Now in an effort to expand its user base even further Apple has planned to include all carriers in its net.
iPhone is expected to be launched in the end of September and will be available for sale either in the first or second week of October. It is expected to be accompanied by a budget version of iPhone 4.
