Samsung has revealed Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 – a device that has all the apps and capabilities of a smartphone but it cannot make any calls. So the device is neither a tablet nor a phone, it is more like a music player or alternatively an iPod Touch –like gadget.

- 1 GHz OMAP processor
- 3.6-inch480×800 resolution screen
- Runs Android 2.3 Gingerbrtead
- VGA- front facing camera
- 2 MP rear camera with LED flash
- 8 GB or 16 GB (can be expanded up to 32 GB through microSD cards)
- GPS
- 3.5 mm ear jack
- Bluetooth, USB 2.0
- WiFi connectivity
The Samsung Galaxy s WiFi 3.6 will be available in UK in October. The 8 GB will sell at a price of £149 ($242) while the price of the 16 GB model will be £169 ($274). No further information is available of its launch in the US and other parts of the world.
