Sony had unveiled two Android tablets S and P at the IFA conference in Berlin a week ago and we had reported that these would become available in end September.
Now the Sony S is available for preorder with the ship date being 16th September. The tablet is available in 16 GB and 32 GB models selling for a price of $499.99 and $599.99 respectively.
Sony’s own website flashes the preorder tag. In addition it is available at Amazon, Best Buy and Future shop in Canada. But Best Buy are giving the shipping date of 23rd September while Future shop does not provide any information regarding the product’s availability.
The tablet S has a 9.4-inch WXGA LCD powered by 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. It runs Android Honeycomb, features a 5MP rear camera.
