Updated Version of Google+ Native App for iOS Released Bringing Hangouts to Your iDevice
Google has released an updated version 1.0.4.2326 of its Google+ native app for iOS bringing major changes that Google+ had introduced only last week.
The updated version brings the popular Hangouts feature to your iDevices. Google had already brought the video chat feature to Android last week and now its iOS users turn to enjoy video chatting with friends while on the go. The feature works well on both Wifi and 3G.
As already announced by Google, Huddle has been replaced by the Messenger app. The Messenger even lets you send photos to friends.
The push notifications have received certain changes will allow you to decide when you want to receive certain notifications. Thus giving you flexibility while on the go. You can also +1 on comments using your iPhone or iPad. The update also fixes bugs and brings performance improvements.
In addition the update brings the power of Google search to the native app for iOs. This feature was also introduced for Google+ web version. Now the same is available on your iOS devices where you can search using key words or topics and not just profiles.
The updated Google+ app for iOS also includes a Map view in profile, which shows the places you have lived and improved support for +mention.
