Microsoft has just started to roll out Windows Phone 7.5 Mango globally but not all will be able to install it on their handsets before few weeks. We have a guide for you through which you can actually install Mango on your handsets. Your Windows Phone 7 handset needs to have the latest version of NoDo for the process.

Warning: The USB cablels not to be removed throughout the process and also ensure your computer is also fully charged and is running on AC power, just to be on the safe side.

1: Ensure your handset is fully charged

2: Download Zune Software and install it. Now make a backup of your device using Zune and sync all your personal data.

3: Plug in your mobile phone a computer using the provided USB cable.

4: Zune will automatically launch once your handset is plugged in. Click on phone”, then hit “SETTINGS” and finally click on “UPDATE”. If you have latest build of NoDo, you will be notified accordingly.

5: Timing is crucial for this step, proceed carefully. Repeat Step 4, and when you hit the “UPDATE” tab, immediately disconnect your computer from the internet, by either turning off WiFi or removing the Ethernet cable.

6: After about 30 seconds a software update will be available for your handset. In case you don’t see the update, repeat Step 5 again until you do see an update. Only after you see the update as shown in the screenshot below, move to Step 7.

7: Connect to the internet again and click the “UPDATE” button.

8: Now follow the on-screen instructions and you will get the installation automatically.

9: Once the first update is installed, Zune will automatically search for more updates.

10: If there are no additional update,repeat Step 5. If you see any update, simply follow the on-screen instructions for installation.

Now the process is complete and you will boot into Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Enjoy!
