Facebook’s app fro iPad is finally here after many leaks and rumors. First an ipad app was found within Facebook’s iPhone app and later it got blocked. Then there was news that the Facebook app for iPad would come out on along with iOS 5 on October 4.
Now it has finally been rolled out by Facebook. It contains a left-hand navigation bar which lets you access the News Feed, photos, messages, Groups and settings. Photos are large and high resolution taking up your entire screen. You can easily swipe through your photos.
No need to go to your inbox. A simple drop down menu makes it easy to scan and send messages without the need for visiting your inbox.
There are also some new features that have been added to the app. Users can playgames while on the go in full-screen mode.
The app provides support for HD video and Air Play. Users can now watch Facebook videos through Apple TVs.
