iPhone 4S Hands-On Video Shows Faster Browsing and Siri Assistant
News about the iPhone 4S just keeps getting better. After the announcement of 1 million units being sold in 24 hours, we now get our hands on its first hands-on video with browser benchmarks and Siri in action.
The video was posted by the Chinese site AppVV.com and shared by MacRumors. Browser benchmarks show that iPhones 4S is twice as fast as iPhone 4 as also claimed by Apple. The phone got a scored of 2222.1ms in Sunspider benchmark and 89567 in a BrowserMark. The BrowserMark for iPhone 4 with iOS 5 is 44856 which clearly indicates that iPhone 4S is twice as fat in the browser.
The video also demos how how to initialize the voice -input via Raise to Speak as well as other Siri menu toggles such as language settings, voice feedback etc. Siri can be activated either by raising the phone to your ear or even by holding down the Home button.
