Sony has decided to recall Bravia TVs that were sold during 2007 and 2008 because there have been incidents of their components melting down. The number of incidents so far reported is 11 without any damage or casualty to anyone.
According some leaks from within Amazon, the Kindle Fire is spreading quickly and apparently selling at a rate of 50,000 units per day. That means in just five days 250,000 units have already been pre-ordered, which isn’t a bad deal at all.

Finally the cat is out of the bag! As expected Amazon’s press conference on 28th September has finally taken place and as speculated Amazon used the event to unveil its Kindle tablet. But guess what! There was not just one tablet rather it was a handful!
Samsung has announced Galaxy 8.9 is now available for pre-order and will ship on October 2nd. The Tab was first announced in March this year along with Galaxy Tab 10.1 and was expected to be released in summer.
Amazon has sent out invites for a press conference to be held in New York on 28th September. We are suspecting that Amazon may finally be unveiling its 7-inch Android tablet the “Amazon Kindle.”
After HP decided to discontinue WebOS and HP TouchPad manufacturing, the price of TouchPad fell to $99 only. This resulted in rapid firesales where people just could not seem to get enough of the TouchPads.
Bringing Gingerbread 2.3.5 to HP TouchPad was a project that was being pursued by both TouchDroid Team and CyanogenMod Team.
According to a report by AppleInsider apple is thinking of bringing a slightly enhanced version of its popular MacBook pro by the end of this year.
Both CyanogenMod team and the TouchDroid team working on a solution to boot HP TouchPad on both WebOS as well as Android 2.3.x. Now TouchDroid has posted a complete step-wise guide on how to install Gingerbread on the Hp TouchPad.
HP has updated its ultraportable DM1 with a fresher look, some software-add ons and specs enhancements. It will be the first laptop that comes with HP Soft-touch Imprint technology.
Sony had unveiled two Android tablets S and P at the IFA conference in Berlin a week ago and we had reported that these would become available in end September.
Just like the CyanogenMod team, the TouchDroid team is a 4-member team of developers trying to bring Android to the HP TouchPad. They are trying to make the TouchPad boot on Gingerbread 2.3.x.
The much talked about Amazon tablet has a 7″ capacitive screen that runs Android and it is called “Amazon Kindle” as reported by TechCrunch whose MG Siegler has seen and used the Design Verification Testing unit of the device.
