After creating much hype and media attention, managing to get over 10 million users in a short span of time, Google+ seems to be losing steam. The initial period of fast growth is now being replaced by a slump in growth.
Looks like Google is fully charged to take on Facebook by bringing in new features to Google+ almost every other day. The Google+ app for iOS, which was the hottest thing sought after, for download was apparently a test version released by mistake according to Google+ Mobile product manager Punit Soni.

While announcing Google’s second Quarter’s earnings, Larry Page, Google’s CEO also talked about the Google and disclosed that within a short span of time over 10 million users have registered with Google+ and together they share over 1 billion items every day.
Google+, which has only been launched for 2 weeks, has reached heights of popularity. The insane demand for invites initially forced Google+ to suspend its invitations temporarily.
