Google+ native app for iPhone, which was only released last month, has been updated to include support for iPad and iPod Touch that was not available in the earlier version. The update still does not offer iPad optimization, however, it does bring additional settings for Huddle, aggregated Circles, notifications and performance and stability improvements.
Google+ is bringing out a new and easier way to send its invites to friends. The new feature which will be rolling out within the next few days will provide a link which you can either IM to your friends or post on the web.
After creating much hype and media attention, managing to get over 10 million users in a short span of time, Google+ seems to be losing steam. The initial period of fast growth is now being replaced by a slump in growth.
The Google+ app for iOS, which was the hottest thing sought after, for download was apparently a test version released by mistake according to Google+ Mobile product manager Punit Soni.
While announcing Google’s second Quarter’s earnings, Larry Page, Google’s CEO also talked about the Google and disclosed that within a short span of time over 10 million users have registered with Google+ and together they share over 1 billion items every day.
Google+, which has only been launched for 2 weeks, has reached heights of popularity. The insane demand for invites initially forced Google+ to suspend its invitations temporarily.
The whole world is going crazy trying to get an invitation to join the newest adventure on the web, Google+. Google started this social networking site through invitations only through a field test.
Many of you out there may be thinking of a way to import all your contacts from Facebook to Google+ and apparently there is an easy solution out there.
Looks like Facebook may have to look after itself since Google has also decided to venture into the world of social networking with the introduction of Google+.
