Google has released the updated version of its Google+ app for iOS. The new version v.188.8.131.524 includes the feature of resharing posts. The announcement came from Google+ Lead Product Manager, Punit Soni, who posted it on his Google+ account.
The notetaking and archiving suite of software Evernote has brought out an update 4.1.0 for iOS featuring re-design for iPad, rich text styles and bug fixes. It is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, requires iOS 3.0 or later.
The popular suite of software for note taking and archiving, Evernote has released a new version for Mac OS X lion. The latest version 3.0 comes with a new simplified interface, full screen mode and a favorites bar.
Skype has launched Skype WiFi App for iOS devices which allows users to connect to over one million hotspots globally including airports, train stations, convention centres etc.
Google+ native app for iPhone, which was only released last month, has been updated to include support for iPad and iPod Touch that was not available in the earlier version. The update still does not offer iPad optimization, however, it does bring additional settings for Huddle, aggregated Circles, notifications and performance and stability improvements.
The Google+ app for iOS, which was the hottest thing sought after, for download was apparently a test version released by mistake according to Google+ Mobile product manager Punit Soni.
Remember we told you that the Google+ native app for iPhone had been pending approval from Apple. Now after getting the green signal from Apple, Google+ iPhone app is available to download for free from App store.
Photovine is a new photo-sharing service launched by Google this week. The app lets users take photos with their phones and then share them with friends.
UISettings is the first third party widget in iOS 5 for the Notification Centre. It is very much like the SBSettings, allowing users to toggle on/off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Respring etc. It further allows users to power-off and reboot their idevice.
