According to a report from TechCrunch the upcoming and most awaited iPhone 5 will provide support for CDMA as well as GSM. A small numbers of developers have actually registered for an app from a new Apple that supports both CDMA and GSM.
Apple has released the updated version of iOS i.e. iOS 4.3.4 for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 2, 1, and iPod Touch.
