We had last reported a few days back that Windows Phone 7.5 Mango would be coming out within a fortnight but looks like Microsoft was very quick in finishing the job and has already started rolling out its latest update of Windows Phone.
For those of you who have been waiting for the official release of the Windows Phone 7.5 codenamed Mango, here is some good news. According to Windows blog:
HTC has unveiled two of its latest phones running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango – HTC Titan and HTC Radar. Both phones have HTC Desire and Sensation like molded aluminum body. HTC would be the second company to bring Mango phones.
The latest cersion of the Windows Phone 7, Mango has reached the Release to Manufacturing (RTM) stage which signifies the end of Microsoft’s development cycle of the mobile OS.
Stephen Elop, CEO of Nokia, has revealed Nokia’s first Windows Phone 7 smartphone named “Sea Ray” with specific instructions to the audience not to make any video recordings or images of the phone. But of course that did not deter the audience from capturing images/videos of the new device.
Good news for Nokia fans in Europe that Nokia intends to target Europe for the launch of its Windows Phone devices. Nokia Europe’s VP Victor Saeijs has identified 6 European countries where these phones will first become available.
