The Burning Man festival is a 30-year old tradition. It first started in 1986, when two friends burned an eight-foot statue on a beach in San Francisco. Today, the highlight of the festival is burning of a 105-feet tall statue. In its own words, Burning Man is a “temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance.” 70,000 people went to Nevada’s Black Rock Desert last week to attend Radical Ritual. If you want to see how it went, just keep scrolling.
